FUTURA – SAVINGS ACCOUNT

Dear customer,

Here is a brief presentation of the newest saving account that American Bank of Albania offers to the Albanian parents for the future of their children.

What ‘s a FUTURA account?

FUTURA is a long-term investment, which can be opened in the name of your child from the time he/she gets born or/and any time after that until she/he becomes 18 years old.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Currency: USD / EUR and or LEK

Amount (Minimum) US$ 100.00/ EUR100.00 and/or LEK 15,000

Interest rates: Refer to our Terms and Conditions

Interest will be changed quarterly according to market conditions

Term: up to 18 years.

The child (beneficiary of such account) should be not older than 15 years at the moment of the opening of the account

  • Money can be deposited in the account at any moment and without any limitation.
  • Money cannot be withdrawn until the child reaches 18 years old.
  • Interest will be paid yearly at the 31 of March. The interest will be paid net of any withholding tax or any other future tax applicable to this account.
  • The child becomes holder of his/her account when he/she is 18 years old. The Bank notifies in writing the child on the day he/she reaches the capacity to act on the existing of FUTURA account. The notice will be sent to the address held by the Bank. The Bank will not be held liable in case the address held is incorrect.
  • Only the parents can be the administrators of the child’s account according to article 7 and 8 of the Civil Code
